The Site

Capel Carmel

Capel Carmel (Carmel chapel) is one of LlÅ·n’s hidden treasures. Its interior has hardly changed since it was built by local Baptists about 200 years ago.

The shop served the local community for years – from the 1920s until the 1980s.

Plas, Chapel House

The house has been vacant for many years, although it’s in fairly good condition. The next step of the project will focus on renovating the house.

The Garden and Shed

In the black shed there are more opportunities to delve into the stories and local history with a mini exhibition. There’s plenty of space to relax with a picnic in the garden and enjoy the views around Plas Carmel.
