WELCOME TO PLAS CARMEL
A community project to restore and revive Capel Carmel and the old shop in Anelog, Siop Plas. Our goal is to make sensitive use of the chapel, house, shop and garden – creating a sustainable heritage and cultural site that breathes new life into this rural corner of LlÅ·n.
The wealth of local stories, culture and history buried deep in Plas Carmel’s square mile is astonishing. Plas Carmel is a place to record, recite and pass on these rich stories, while making room for new ones. From the Pilgrim’s paths to Dic Aberdaron’s wandering journeys, come and dig into the past and walk the paths where geology and landscape meet with myth and legend. Plas Carmel’s stories are here to be shared and celebrated, and we hope they will stay with you for a lifetime.
